AM – 412 “Hats Off to Larry”

Wow...

It’s all been said before, but still…
I find it very hard to believe that there *can* be life after Larry – WITHOUT Larry. Everything and anything that can possibly be wonderful in a guy is combined here, along with a million other things… All these great scenes, expressing their relationship beautifully, - too many to enumerate… The office scenes where she helps him pack – silent devastation with Vonda cooing in the background; the hug in the end by the cab – that just said more than anything else ever could… I also had a feeling Ally didn’t quite understand what exactly it is she told Larry to do until that packing scene – only then did she actually *get* that he was REALLY and irreversibly leaving… You know, “depressing” doesn’t always equal “bad”. This ep was a perfect example proving that point. Sadness makes you think a lot, and that little two-ep break following this ep sort of evened things out, fully capturing their relationship… Lovely. Fantastically lovely.

Random thoughts – cute Nelle growl, Sam’s hot (as in the dancer), the other Sam is adorable (is it just me or is that *actually* Indio – his son – playing Sam?), Calista’s wonderful, John’s great in his emploi as always…

… and Larry is hella SIZZLING…
